It would be a shame if she moves on but all good things come to an end. And she was a good thing and has turned the business around by looking after the pennies and the pounds taking care of themselves. It had to be done and she had the real balls to do it.
Maintenance once sorted is a different thing entirely. She has lots of other interests and 3 days a week at WH is probably now a chore for her when there is a lot more lucrative and interesting work elsewhere.
If it's true then good luck Karren and thanks for helping turn my club around.

I quite like her but Northern Sold has it right that is exactly what she is like. She has at go people if the lights are on in a room that isn't being used.
She is no CEO, she's not a business person but a very good project manager. She is also an excellent public speaker.
Politics is actually the perfect fit for, she can turn on the charm when it suits. Lots of empahsis on profile.

The debt is being transferred to the directors, so whilst this is a better position than owing it to third parties it is still technically debt.
That's there was a Sullivan endorsed article in the Telegraph a few months back suggesting we still had a lot of bank debt.
Thing is when they bullshit so much about things like this chucking out numbers to suit it is hard to know the true position until the accounts come out.

I'm pretty sure I read recently it's going the third year running our accounts have been in great shape. Which is good right?
Although you could put that down to FFP maybe and the chairman doing their bit. I don't understand financial stuff of have a big interest other than the fact our debt is getting reduced after the iclandics fuck ups, and Browns fuck ups.

I loved her when she first joined.... got happy shopper mayonaise put in the club canteen instead of the Heinz one.... got everyone to change all the lightbulbs ... stopped the players packets of haribos and the energy drinks... saved a few Bob there...

I'm really not a fan of her column. It's very cringeworthy like one of those bird magazines full of gossip, speculation and hints. Not sure why anyone would enjoy that.
However, from what I've heard she has done a great job inside the club earning us cash to ease the debt, and she actually isn't that far off what most of WHO thinks about our team. (Other than the Olympic name thing)
I think because she's a successful woman people are a little intimidated maybe?
I don't get why she receives so much grief.

Best managing director for the business side of things that we have had since I can remember. She may not be everyone's cup of tea but there is no denying that she has been influential in turning the club around following the shite we were left with after the Icelandics.
